I just finished my build and had no idea how easy it was. I bought a used 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with no plans to modify. plan. I bought the 2.4ghz radio and 4.2ghz transmission that came with the jeep and put them in my jeep. Easy. And so simple. I even bought an old and totally junk 2005 dodge truck. Easy. This little thing can do so much in such a simple build. There are few things I would recommend after The best way to buy viagra online
you've got the truck working. First, don't just slap on a radio and go for it. Try to get the radio you need to work just right. A lot of people will tell you the trans is just fine and that the radio just needs to be tuned a bit get it to work. Nope. works great with 2.4ghz radio and has NO problem at all shifting. I would do a tune up when you get the jeep to be sure it is all working fine. There very little you can do to improve the Jeep's performance and with 2.4ghz 4.2ghz transmissions it can be an amazing ride if you get it right. I recommend that the 2.4ghz radio get a tune up.
I bought this used truck off of craigslist and it was a total disaster... the car had been abused and it a busted headlight that wasn't working properly. Also, the car had been totaled in a wreck few years earlier. The only thing I managed to salvage was the radio after I had steering column replaced. This is the part that was Best price ventolin inhaler
in wreck. I had to cut and strip two wires, which turned out to be two of the wires from trans. Then I had to cut and strip two more wires that made up the wiring harness. I ended up cutting and re-soldering all three wires finally got the thing working! It still needs a tune up. The only other issues I had with this car are that the rear bumper needs to be replaced, and it has an old cracked tire that needs replacing. I recommend getting a new rear bumper. The one that I got was from walmart for about $30! If you get a used bumper that is really cracked, you can put some duct tape on it and cover the cracks if you really want it to have a smooth look. There is lot of things you could do to the tires, but it shouldn't be an issue. The tires on jeep actually do not need to be replaced. You can get a used tire from me and I will put on some tires to see if it needs be replaced. The front bumper also needs to be replaced, but I will get one new and let you know how it turns out. is pretty easy to do and should be really nice. Just make sure you don't have any rust in them or you might want to get these done! I would suggest doing all of these things at the same time as you are installing the radio, front bumper and new tires.
I have installed my jeep and had it running for about 6 days now and it is everything that I expected. It runs perfectly and shifts so well without issue. It also looks awesome with being done and it is the smallest rig I own. am very happy with what I have done and will be installing the 2.4ghz radio again once I get the jeep running. It will still be about $350 and the transmission will be in stock form. If you look under the car will find stock radio just needs to be installed work. If you do not need a radio, then you can still install the radio and transmission by just using the jacks. note you will have a lot more work to do.
This is my first attempt into modifying a vehicle. I'm big fan of DIY projects and have a few friends that make them. I was really interested in trying out modifying a vehicle. I have always wanted to put a radio in my truck or SUV so this project seemed like a good idea. I was able to find an unused truck on Craigslist that was in bad shape. It a real beat up mess that had a really bad smell coming from it. The car was totaled and there wasn't any body or engine work done. I figured the radio would be an easy replacement. As it turned out, there was a lot more to it than I realized. bought a used 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited off of craigslist and it was a total disaster.... the car had been abused and it a busted headlight that wasn't working properly.
